POPSHouse GOP Brings Transparency To HealthCare Bill Online The GOP will continue its online push against the bill on Thursday, when Rep. Mike Pence (R-Ind.) will lead a 12-hour online town hall to discuss health care. On their page healthcaretruth.amplify.com, Republican users share the actual text of the bill up for discussion and leave a comment. Other users can leave their own comments or share the content using Twitter, Facebook, Digg and other social networking tools. Reps. POPSAfghanistan: It's game over, time for America to go. Karzai is corrupt, has no legitimacy with the Afghan people, and he's effectively the mayor of Kabul. There is no legitimate reason for Americans to keep killing and dying & pouring money we don't have into occupying a country that: A) No-one since Alexander the Great on up through the Soviets were able to subdue B) Really, REALLY hates outsiders and will kill Americans just because they're there. It's over whether we like it or not. Time to come home.

A few Google Wave invite owners are selling on the site. You can bid, but beware eBay is deleting some of these listings because selling a Google Wave invite is like selling someone else's intellectual property.

POPSPeople give birth and die on Facebook (internet actually)
The thing about Facebook and Twitter is that unlike earlier times on the Internet, these two companies have shaped the perception of people connected to each other more closely than ever before. Everyone is on-line on FB or Twitter or both!. Not that people were not connected earlier via email or email groups (and some exclusively still are), but FB and Twitter are humongous instant messenger type services where everyone perceives as something where you know others are on (email does not give a perception that you are on and individual instant-messenger were always individual). So as Facebook comes up with ideas on what to do with people who are dying on the internet, I think they should also come up with some special arrangements when people are born. I'm not talking about some FB application (I hate them and they are annoying). There is no denying that babies are being born on Facebook every day (it sounds weird but that is a truth).

POPSObama plays more golf in 9 mos. than Bush did in 3 years The reason I quit golfing was that it takes too long and detracts from other more important things. A round of golf takes nearly 4 hours. Not to mention driving range practice. Looks like Obama has a lot of time on his hands. Too bad our troops are depending on this bum for speedy decisions. The bum must be voting "present" again. Folks, in 2010 vote ALL the bums out of office. And in 2012 vote this bum and all his Mao-loving colleagues out too!
