McNair Tribute, RIP

I spent Fall Sundays in Adelphia/Nashville Coliseum for about 7 or 8 years watching this man routinely perform magic. One of my all time favorite quarterbacks. A seemingly humble guy who gave back tremendously.

Obama Betrays Freedom Again
willhelm
by willhelm  7-3-2009    1
" Take this hypothetical: imagine that Barack Obama announced that he was going to hold a referendum on legalizing a third term for himself. Imagine that even his attorney general, Eric Holder, advised him that it was illegal. Imagine that the Supreme Court ruled that holding the referendum was unconstitutional. In spite of that, let's imagine that Obama coerced the FEC into holding the referendum anyway. Then - let's further imagine -- we found out that Venezuelan strongman Chávez (who has pulled off a similar power grab in his own country) was financing the referendum. What should the Joint Chiefs do in such a case? And if they removed Obama from office, would they be destroying the Constitution or preserving it? "

Left in Dark Times, Bernard-Henri Lévy
willhelm
by willhelm  7-3-2009
Maybe the most important book of our time! I think I will move this to the top of my list MORE: The neoprogressives believe "liberalism is the source all the planet's evils," Lévy writes (p. 90), so they must declare innocent those Third World despots who "meddle with their citizens and treat them like cattle," because in the neoprogressive dogma "the System, and the System alone, bears full responsibility." They reject that the great revolutions, including the British and the American, were explicitly liberal, and used liberal thought in their struggle against absolutism (p. 92). The liberal market-based republics can more easily be portrayed as Evil, when liberty, which might be thought their finest aspect, disappears from view.

The definition of fascio
willhelm
by willhelm  7-3-2009    6
It cannot be stated too many times that Mussolini himself recognized the ideas and writings of Woodrow Wilson in support of his ideology. Everyone should read Wilson's writings and speeches about why he is a Progressive. It is startling. We have seen under GW Bush and now at hyper-speed under Obama the rise of Wilsonian Progressivism, which is fascism. People often make the mistake of assuming the hate of Hitler and the brutality of Mussolini and other fascists is the definitive nature of Fascism. They are not. As highlighted in this clip, fascism has a specific meaning. This is where we are today. America was fascist-light under Woodrow Wilson. We are heading that way again. More power to the Fed, General Electric, liberty being evaporated by government/corporate paradigms such as energy, general electric, healthcare, auto industry, the integration of compulsory service and more to come.

The Coming Insurrection - A leftist call to arms
willhelm
by willhelm  7-1-2009    4
I'm telling you..these people are nuts. Fascists, Communists, Progressives..whatever. They are the same thing and they are twisted idiots. More from article: Hot-wired to the movement of '77 in Italy, its preferred historical reference point, The Coming Insurrection formulates an ethics that takes as its starting point theft, sabotage, the refusal to work, and the elaboration of collective, self-organized forms-of-life. It is a philosophical statement that addresses the growing number of those"in France, in the United States, and elsewhere"who refuse the idea that theory, politics, and life are separate realms.

Idiocy Reigns, Be Honest About It

"maybe there's such a thing as learned stupidity. How else can so many people be so idiotic? Our national IQ has dropped to about 75: Several standard deviations below normal. " "Well, we have now voted in a President for the lowbrows. Yes, Obama himself is smart enough; even smart enough to say a few years ago that he didn't feel ready for the presidency. Well, now we can see why he said that. But legions of idiots voted for a man who was plainly unqualified, even by his own estimation, and surrounded by a bunch of malignant sociopaths like Wright and Ayers and all the rest. How could he possibly win? Well, Obama cynically appealed to the idiots -- the young, the stupid, the naive, the silly, the rock idol worshippers, and probably the drug-addled masses, all the lowbrows in the land. That includes the idiot savants of academia. Academics have a very narrow band of intelligence, something that satirists since Aristophanes have noticed and poked fun at. Obama's 22 White House c

Hate speaks again

by willhelm  6-25-2009    9
Leader of hate and apparently another "God hates f#$%" church. Nice diagnosis, Masbury. The true test of character is not in the failure of human being, but the human being's response to it. For that he is on course to recover personally. Compare to Edwards, Clinton, Obama, etc..Another test is his supporters reaction. "He should step down". "He should be impeanched". "He should resign". Only someone possessed of outright hatred would suggest that those who believe life in the womb is life that should not be killed are practicing suppression. Absolutely hateful and idiotic! Hey , dumbass, most libertarians oppose the war on drugs! Or, is this just more idiotic political spin that you admit to on occasion? "You see it in abstinence education"? You see what in abstinence education? "It doesn't work in our hearts and it doesn't work in our nation." OHH, so you and your ignorant, fascist ilk are gonna force people to live the way YOU want? Instead of having the liberty to c

The father of Sociology suggests it is not a science
willhelm
by willhelm  6-24-2009    3
From article: That’s it! That is basis for the whole sociological dictatorship. Suggest problems for emotional involvement and demand the intellect devise social solutions. It can turn any personal problem into a social problem, a social problem into a national problem, and a national problem into an international problem belonging to all humanity. Social science treats life as a series of problems for ‘society’ or united ‘Humanity’ to solve. When all the problems the social scientists can concoct from any part of the world become social problems for the WORld Management System (WORMS) to solve, the sociological dictatorship will be complete. The basic tactic for turning personal problems into social problems is to promote otherism. To be otheristic one must abandon all thought of self and think constantly of the problems of others.

The Machine, Propaganda Coordination

Obama is coordinating questions with his brown-shirt bloggers. Pitney asked: “Under which conditions would you accept the election of Ahmadinejad, and if you do accept it without any significant changes in the conditions there, isn't that a betrayal of the " of what the demonstrators there are working towards?” Since Obama is the first president in office in the modern media era, he has the priviledge of having a reporters from an unabashedly liberal website covering his press conferences, but one would think they would draw the line at coordinating questions. Meanwhile, Obama was dismissive of one of Jake Tapper's tough questions on healthcare.
