POPSBest, Simplest, Easiest to Understand BOOKMAKING TUTORIAL I have found! I couldn't much of the instructions, but there are very good, easy to understand, instructions to go with the pictures and few words I was able to clip. This is an absolutely WONDERFUL tutorial on bookmaking with signatures and hardbound, I have seen yet! Anyone can make their own book following these instructions!

POPSCollage...interrupted Thoughts on Creativity I LOVE this website! I have posted another page from her website on Art Journals. I clipped the pictures, and a few words, obviously I couldn't clip them all, and still have you be able to see it. I realize that sometimes creative people are just scattered, like I am. I also realize that every piece I make does NOT have to be "perfect" or mean anything at all to anyone but me. Collage is another way to express myself, journal, let feelings out....art therapy.

POPSArt Journal Tutorial Cool & Easy I really like this website! She loves to make Art out of Junk...thus the name ArtJunk. I love art journals, and I love the idea of just using a plain old comp book. I have also been working on one of these using an unreadable book. Use what you have, re-use something, recycle...don't buy anything!! Save money and the environment at the same time!

POPSCrochet Rag Rug = Use What you Have Our foremother's had the right idea about recycling. For them it was a necessity due to finances and availability. For us, it is becoming a necessity because of our enviroment!

You know...you could go ahead and make these into jewelry items....rings, pendants, buttons...

POPSRecycled Styrofoam Jewelry Hanger This is a really cool idea! I am going to make at least three of them, one for my room, one for Donna's room, one for each bathroom, and one for Cassidy & Donna's rooms. I guess that's more than three...grin Seems easy to make, easy to hang and easy to use!!

POPSFree Audio Books for Disabled People This site is processing applications for Baen Books, for disabled people to have access to all of Baen's audio and ebook libraries for free. Apparently it is offered to people who have any type of disability which makes reading standard books difficult. This would include vision problems and physical limitations, as well as some learning challenges, such as dyslexia. They have you fill out a simple form, asking for your email address, snail address, phone number, type of disability and doctor's information. I am interested in this because I am the caregiver for a lady who recently lost one eye, and can't see much out of her other eye.

POPSHerbal Horse Remedies This page has an article about different herbal supplements and herbal remedies for horses. I am now particularly interested in this, as one of my best friends just gave my daughter and I an older horse. We will still be keeping it at her house for several months, just helping to pay the feed bill. Bunne is a 24 year old, absolutely SWEET, perfectly trained, quarter horse mare. Her only fault is she has some arthritis in one of her rear hooves. Therefore, I am looking into natural herbal remedies for horses. We are currently giving her Bute and MSM.

POPSMemory Wire beaded Stitch Markers Just when I thought I had found absolutely every kind of stitch marker there was, here is even yet another type of stttch marker. She made loopes at the end of the memory wire, but I think memory wire end caps would look more professional, and would be less likely to snag than a loop at the end. Not to mention that memory wire is hard to bend in the first place. You would want to use the size of memory wire intended for rings.

POPSS hook stitch markers Even another idea! I know this is the type you need for crochet, but I am not sure how this would work for knitting....it seems they have to stay put somethow, and I don't see how these would stay on the needles... I am not an advanced enough knitter to have ever used stitch markers. Hey, if you use stitch markers, and have tried diffferent styles, let me know which ones you like best and why. Thanks! Fran

POPSYet even more stitch markers These flexible coated wire stitch markers look like the way to go.... These you can see she crimped at the bottom with a flat crimp, which I think gives it a cool look. Including a row marker seems like a cool idea too.
