POPSHave it your way Hilarious ad campaign for Burger King by Munich agency Start. Judging by the edgy content, probably won't be making it to North America, although it's reportedly in use in the Netherlands/Germany...

POPSGreat deal: SadMad's gently used yacht for only $34! Millions, that is. But how many yachts will you come across described as having design inspiration of "equal parts Disney's Aladdin and Courtyard by Marriott"? :P Built for Sad-Mad but never delivered to Iraq, hence its escaping the bombing that befell its twin in 2003. Now moored here in the South of France.

POPSInfographic delight: Indianapolis Museum visualized Refreshing use of technology in the arts/social arena. The Indianapolis Museum uses an enterprise dashboard to visualize vital stats normally buried in paper. E.g. amount of energy consumed per day visits: online/offline, average duration, member/casual/students, etc. artworks: new acquisitions, on loan, most visited, etc. gardening activity: new blooms, H2O consumption, etc Loved the 3rd grader stat. :)

POPSZeitgeist (movie): Religion or astrology, war or profit?
Documentary offers interesting perspectives on instruments of influence like faith (traces antecedents and commonalities of world religions to astrology), media (e.g. discrepancies in 9/11 reports & investigation, less-reported issues like the strange coincidences of 9/11 & London bombings occurring simultaneously with govt anti-terror drills on the same targets , etc), war (as a profit machine for banking heavies), economies as hostage to a select few (roots of central banking as crafted by the private corporation called the federal reserve bank, etc), amongst other things. Some angles seem quite stretched, but raise interesting points nonetheless. Movie officially premieres at "Artivists" international film festival in LA. Movie's a bit lengthy, but a rough viewing rundown: The religion/astrology discussion runs from around 9th to 30th minute, 9/11 issues from the 37th min, banking at the 1hr 12th min, war for profit at the 1hr24th min.

POPSPump & Dump: New high-end twist “Engineered” auctions for items like art, wine, watches. Sellers, collectors, artists, manufacturers, etc. (eg Damien Hirst, Patek Phillippe, Omega) bid for their own works to inflate prices, thus making the rest of their inventory seem more valuable.

POPSNeither car nor motorbike: Acabion GTBO Not a car or motorbike, the pod/suppository shaped "vehicle" called the Acabion GTBO costs from 1.83Million EUROS. I imagine they're counting on some buyers to think that the 250 mph at 17% throttle & 25 miles/gallon is worth the price...
