I'm not unduly excited by the political aspects of this, but wonder under what flag the bitter and broken-hearted will now gather to vent their collective despair?

Obama is disempowering his opponents. I was amazed at McCain being in on the early discussions, but it is becoming clearer. I doubted that Obama would be there for more than formalities anyway.
It is harder for the opposition to criticize if they are involved. Careful choice should see white anting kept to a minimum.
