We feel the city should be ashamed of this secret prison they've set up," said Re-create '68 organizer Glenn Spagnuolo.

...and there you have it. Invite the same riff-raff and you get the same end result.

C'mon, Nappy--do you really think people who disagree with the Democratic bull are riff-raff? Are you such a snob that citizens need to be caged up to assemble peacefully? Let's see, somewhere in the Constitution....Oh...that's right--it's just a piece of paper, according to Booosh/Cheney.

If you asked 100 'Merikans what that statement above was, friend Jorjor, I bet ya that 75 of them couldn't identify it! Let alone exercise it or understand that they have been stripped of that right by the Bush/Cheney gang of criminals.

The First Amendment Center's 2007 survey found that:

25% said “the First Amendment goes too far in the rights it guarantees,”
well below the 49% recorded in the 2002 survey that followed the 9/11 terrorist
attacks in 2001, but up from 18% in 2006.
34% (lowest since the survey first was done in 1997) think the press “has
too much freedom,” but 60% of Americans disagree with the statement that the
press tries to report the news without bias, and 62% believe the making up of
stories is a widespread problem in the news media — down only slightly from
2006.
Just 56% believe that the freed...

so the kooks who think a 1968-style Democrat Convention are up in arms that the Democrat controlled city of Denver is taking them at their word and planning on having to arrest a bunch of these publicity seekers who will probably not even be charged. As they protest the nomination of the most liberal Presidential candidate this party has put forward in decades.

Of course this re-create 68 bunch are pansies. Protest now means standing up firmly for what you believe in - until you actually might have to pay a price for at - at which point you fold like a cheap suit. And this whining about Gitmo on the Platte proves it.

Funny thing, Papananook - when I was in 4th grade, I was reading at the 12th grade level - and somewhere in my basement, I have the old test forms to prove it.

"proves it"... CR--you really are a knothead, ya know? Why don't you go cage yourself and see how it feels. This kinda gestapo tactic is just more evidence of what a police state we have become.
