Unfortunately Merrie the only reason they revolted in 1944 was that Germany was losing the war.Hitler had already been on a murderous path from 1933 on ,and certainly from September 1939 it should have been clear to anyone that he was an evil bastard!While it's true that these men deserve accolades for their courage it seems to me there revolt was brought on only because they did not want to see Germany completely destroyed not because of an altruistic view toward anybody else.Namely they were trying to save their asses and those of the German people!!!!
